We are very pleased to announce that Kadie Salmon has been awarded the Arts Council England DYCP (Developing your creative practice) grant to develop a new moving image work.
Expanding on her existing research exploring the relationship between story telling and image making and historic/contemporary depictions of sexuality, desire and loss she will use a combination of traditional post-production techniques (such as hand coloured analogue film) to produce a collage of photographic stills/animation and digital footage. As part of her project, Kadie will be collaborating with different poets and songwriters to create an audio element for her moving image work.
