Moon Bathing is Salmon’s newest body of work; a moving image and series of hand coloured photographs taking at night and developed during a residency in Mont Serrat, Spain earlier this year.

Drawing on the literacy works of authors such as Daphne du Maurier and Jean Rhy’s novel Wide Sargasso Sea, Salmons new work Moon Bathing explores historic and contemporary depictions of female sexuality, lunacy and landscape.

Stills (30x30cm): Series of 9 long exposure, hand coloured black and white photographs

Moving Image (2.23mins): Digital black and white and analogue hand coloured photographs. Poem Someone other than else by poet Klara du Plessis (recited by Salmon).
