KADIE SALMON announces beautiful new photographic edition

In order to mark the mid point of Kadie Salmon’s residency programme at The Florence Trust and as  a lead up to the September show at New Art Projects, we are very proud to announce this beautiful ethereal and moving new photographic work, produced as an edition of 10.

Kadie Salmon is currently mid way through a residency programme at The Florence Trust, London, awarded in August 2016. During this residency Kadie is creating a new body of hand coloured photographs and sculptures supported by The Eaton Fund.  This new work will be developed from a research residency that she completed in 2016 at Lademoen Kunstnerveder, Trondheim, Norway. During her time in Trondheim she worked with LKV and the cities archives to explore the historic relationship between landscape and romanticism depicted in art, literature and folklore.

In 2016 Kadie received funding from The Henry Moore Foundation for the touring project Strange Loop as part of artist collective Captain Lightfoot. Recent exhibitions include Strange Loop, Babel Gallery, Norway and Gallery EX14, Dresden, Germany.

Upcoming exhibitions for 2017 include:
The Florence Trust Summer show which will mark the end of her current residency and Kadie Salmon & Talwyst at New Art Projects which will showcase her new body of work.
