Description
The publication includes an essay by writer Giovanni Aloi and Mark Pilkington, and a foreword by New Art Projects’ Director, Fred Mann. The publication features works from his show Tales from the Bone Garden at New Art Projects, London. Logan’s works in the exhibition see his response to the COVID-19 pandemic, a series of drawings based around the sentence “go back inside”. As part of his considering the impact of the virus, Logan imagined a “Bone Garden” where his signature wildflowers become combined with skeletons. The second series featured is a continuation of his “wild man” series and here the wild man is seen involved in shamanic magic, casting spells and holding the delicate balance between man and nature in his furry hands.
